Aim Zing

It is time for a new goal book!
Time to get some "Aim" and add that "Zing"!

Are you ready for it?
Last year I made this one:

http://aimlessdaze.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-book-of-aim-zing.html

This year I made a few changes.
The biggest change is that it is perpetual!  That means that you can start it on your own time table.  We aren't all ready to start in January.  And that is perfectly fine.  You get to set the date.

Take a look!

My goal for this Aim Zing Planner was to give you plenty of space to plan, dream and doodle.  As always, I gave you plenty of my own doodles and words of inspiration.

Be inspired to make your life...YOURS!

You can see how I used last years planner here:

and here:

Throughout the next few weeks I will be adding new half page to do lists and quarter page to do lists, and more.

Stop by my TPT store and get your Aim Zing Goal Book!

Goal Book Sneak Peak

I had intentions of posting here at least twice a week.

I really did!

Alas, it has not happened...

But, I do want you to know that I have been working on a new Aim Zing Goal Book /Planner!  I'm really excited about it.  This time I decided to make it perpetual.  That way you can start it at any time during the year.  It is full of doodles!

Here is a sneak peak.

My plan is to have it done by this weekend.  I really wanted to finish it at the beginning of the month.  That, obviously, did not happen.  But I will get it in my store before January!!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season!

I love this time of year.

Here is some word art for you,
from me.

Snow

I'm not sure if I am ready for this!

I love how beautiful the snow is.

I love getting out the sleds,
building snowmen,
drinking hot chocolate,
and wearing sweaters.

But I'm not sure if I love having snow around from November all the way to April.
That is a long winter.

Maybe smiling snowflakes will change my mind.

Have fun using these snowflakes in your projects!
They are free!

Done!

You may remember that at the beginning of the year I was asked to be a part of The Family School team (scroll down and you will see me at the bottom).
They asked me to help in handout design.
That means I get to do a lot of drawing!!!

I was tasked to help redo 2 years worth of handouts.
That is over 2000 pages of drawing, organizing and creating.
I have stacks and stacks of sketches.

After about 6 months of what felt like non-stop work,
I can finally say that we are done.
With that project...

WoooWeeee.
That was intense.

Have you missed me?
I've missed this.

Well guess what?
Now I can start paying attention to this blog and Teachers Pay Teachers!

You will notice that I have already added some new frames to my shop.

I use these all the time.
I love to print out a bunch of them and use them for journaling.

I also use them to frame important words or saying in my Family School handouts.

I hope you like them!

Here is a free frame for you.

My free clipart is just that "free".  You are free to use it for personal and commercial use (obviously you can't sell my actual image..).  If you do use it for commercial use, such as your TPT products, it would be wonderful if you gave me the credit for the image and help me spread the word about my store!  Thank you!

August 2014 to December 2015 Calendar

How is it possible that tomorrow is August!  I can hardly believe it.

I am getting ready for an awesome school year with my kids.  I am so excited about what I have been working on for The Family School.  The new handouts are turning out awesome!  I have been very busy with drawing, creating and organizing everything that needs to get done for print day.  It is a lot of work!  But totally worth it.

I received a request for a calendar that is for August 2014 to December 2015.  I decided to go for it.  Even though I knew it would be difficult to fit in, I thought that it may be something that would be useful for the upcoming school year.

Here are a few pages.

You can purchase the entire calendar at my TPT Store.

I hope you are having an "aimless daze"!

Spring Time in Michigan

We are back in Michigan.
Good Bye UT.
Your sweet sunshine is in our hearts.

Hello Michigan.
You are cold.

Oh, so cold.
Instead of jumping on the Trampoline,
The kids decided to read in daddy's reading chair.

Now, a treat for you.

I had a request to make my one side borders a little bit longer.
That way they can fit on the long side of an 8.5x11 size document without having to transform them.

You can find them at my TPT store.

I love having a collection of these one side borders.
Sometimes I am working on a project and it just needs a little something.
Adding one of these borders does the trick!
I can make something that is a little bit boring into a beautiful and fun project.

Take one of these borders on a test run.
See how you like it.
Then come and get some more!
